The Business Incubator program at the Center for Technology, Enterprise and Development is committed to helping individuals realize their dreams and aspirations to successfully enter the world of entrepreneurship and business. We can effectively assist you in start-up services for your business in numerous ways.
The Business incubator Program’s SCOPE OF SERVICES provided by the TED Center includes, but are not limited to the following items. Many are provided at no cost. The balance of services are provided at a very minimal fee, very, very far below the fees clients are ordinarily charged for the same work done elsewhere. Services provided for each client are determined and based on a professional assessment of each client’s individual needs.
The following is the Business Incubator checklist of the initial technical micro-business steps which we take on behalf of our members. These are the essential building blocks for all small businesses, wherever the businesses are located and regardless of the product or services provided.

Whether helping to obtain a bank loan or assistance in gaining access to federal/state research and development funds, venture capital, seed capital, a revolving loan fund or "angel" financing.
A network or relationships with your peers ~ other business owners who are struggling with the same issues you face ~ who can help you through rough times and who may become customers or suppliers.
Flexible space and flexible leases, often at below-market rates.
Shared basic business services such as telephone answering, bookkeeping, word-processing and other secretarial help, receptionist services and access to a fax and copy machines, computers and business libraries. These services may be included in rent, or you may be able to "pay as you go", purchasing services you need when you need them and conserving capital for marketing, production, product development and other vital efforts.
Copier - A high quality copier that duplexes, collates and staples for $.045 per copy.
Postage Meter - A postage meter that weighs mail, calculates postage, stamps and seals envelopes.
Fax Machine - Local faxes are at no cost. Long distance at the TED Center's long distance rate.
Voice Mail - Clients are provided with a voice mailbox to retreive messages.
Company set-up - Company information and accounts are set up in an accounting software program (usually Quickbooks) for posting by the client or client's employee.
Training - Quickbooks training for client or employee on a one-on-one basis.
Bookkeeping Services - Posting of transactions to Quickbooks on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Tax Form prepared if requested. Financial reports provided
