James Klaber

Jimmy Klaber earned his MA and studied for a PhD in Education at St. Louis University and is ABD. He also earned a JD from the Nevada School of Law at Old College . He has an MBA and a BA in Political Science, is a multi-engine instrument pilot and long-time member of Mensa, the Red Onion Think Tank in Langley, Virginia and a continuing panelist for Plaza Research in Ft. Lauderdale , FL.

During his career, he was the CEO of a management consulting company geared to assisting small businesses and not-for-profit agencies. He was the Missouri-Illinois regional director of the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith (being awarded a Citation for Outstanding Professional Excellence), managed cellular telephone companies, biometric security companies, video surveillance and access control companies, numerous small businesses and a family services agency. He has extensive business development experience with helping capital acquisition and fund raising.

He served on the faculty of the greater St. Louis Police Academy and trained law enforcement officials in crisis intervention techniques. He was instrumental in helping solve the "Synagogue Sniper" serial killings during the late 1970's. Jimmy spent the better part of 11 years hunting German Nazis and infiltrating the American Nazi Party and the Ku Klux Klan, where he risked his safety obtaining valuable information about these hate groups.

Dr. Klaber was a Chief Investigative Reporter and Talk Show Host, Producer, Director, Editor & Writer on TV for ABC-TV, a network in St. Louis and Chicago & affiliates, a nationally syndicated talk show host, and the president of an independent TV production company. Dr. Klaber hosted “Encounter,” a nationally syndicated talk show and hosted “7 On Your Side,” a consumer action and investigative TV news program.

Early in his career, he was a U.S. Congressional Staff Assistant and was Staff Assistant for the Nassau County Board of Supervisors and the Township of Oyster Bay, NY.

He was appointed by the U.S. House of Representatives as a consultant to the Select Committee on Assassinations where he helped with the primary investigation and research concerning the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He has counseled countless businesses and worked with the US Small Business Administration and similar government agencies for many years. Dr. Klaber was listed in the 1996-1997 and 1997-1998 editions of the National Registry of Who's Who in American Business.

Jimmy Klaber is an active member of the community who is a member of the Board of Directors and the Treasurer of the PACE Center for Girls and on the Board of Directors of the Knights of Pythagoras Mentoring Network.  He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the National Single Parent Resource Center.  On December 19, 2006, Dr. Klaber was honored once again by elected to membership into the 2007-2008 Heritage Registry of Who’s Who.
